It gives you new skills and helps people in our communities improve their lives. As an independent charity, our success depends on the support of people like you. Are you able to do the following: I can regularly volunteer several hours a week I am willing to undergo training necessary for the volunteering role I can research, absorb and communicate information on rights and entitlements I will adhere to policies, in particular, on confidentiality, anti-discrimination and health & safety. I am patient and flexible with individuals I will avoid judgement and stereotyping I can listen to others, identify problems and communicate choices or solutions.
